WELCOME TO THE VIRTUAL WORLD OF A THEATER! Welcome to the gallery of illusions created by imagination of blind and visually impaired actors; to the page lit by the good light of the soul, the light whose meaning is so close to art but also to all those who love and worship this noble expression of human spirit.
There are many windows that lead into New Life, but, to take a peek into our www, look at the important BITs, that is, look at the three small letters that stand at the beginning of the binary code, and the letters that are essential BITs to life and existence.
Yes! BIT is our festival and it takes place every two years in Zagreb attracting blind and visually impaired artists from all over the world with its subtle “magnets”. This year’s eleventh edition of the festival will be held from September 27 to October 3 and it will celebrate art as well as BIT’s important BITs in it.
BIT (blind in theater) is a unique festival of blind and visually impaired theatrical groups, a rare souvenir of the autumn in Zagreb, an evergreen that breaks prejudices and stereotypes, outgrows the usual cultural event and puts Croatia in the company of very few countries who can proudly say that they have a theater of blind and visually impaired persons.
If you happen to be around, or if the unknown butterflies in your stomach lead you here, COME, we will be in Vidra, the address is Draškovićeva 80, in Typhlo-block, right on the intersection of good energy and even better hugs, under the lights that we cannot see, but our love for art shines with them and provides an audience with the illusions worthy of praise.
YOUR LIKE IS A KISS, BUT YOUR COMPANY WOULD GIVE US TRUE JOY!
